For example: Type 30 engine oil is designed for the use of locomotives in winter, and has a low viscosity. Type 50 is designed for summer, and its viscosity is relatively high, which is conducive to the formation of oil film between parts of the locomotive in summer under high temperature conditions, reducing wear and tear, prolonging the service life of parts and maximizing the efficiency of the engine.
Although the multi-grade engine oil can adapt to a wider temperature range, its price is higher. Due to the small span of the operating area and the small change in temperature difference, small agricultural machinery should mainly use single-grade oil. In addition, since the locomotives with single-cylinder diesel engines are mostly small, there is no need to use engine oil above CD level, because theoretically speaking, CC level is the standard oil for this type of locomotive. The lubrication effect of the components is optimal.In addition, due to the different models of diesel engines and gasoline engines, there is a big difference in the oil used.
